Lauryn
Owner/ Master Colourist
Lauryn has over 15 years experience in the hair industry. Gosh Hair has been her home from the very beginning, having gone from apprentice to eventually taking over the business 9 years ago. The love she has for the salon and her team is something you will notice as soon as you meet her, Gosh Hair is her second family and a place that allows her to make a positive impact to those around her. As you will read in most the teams bios, they have being part of the salon for an extended amount of time and that truly is one of Lauryn’s greatest accomplishments, creating a beautiful culture for not only the team but everyone that walks into the salon.
Lauryn has a passion for everything hair, however her favourite service to perform is colour corrections or extensions. The challenge it brings to her day is such a rush, then the joy it brings to her guest’s faces when they see their hair finished is second to none.
For Lauryn, it’s about the service and the ability to change her guest’s day for the better. There is nothing more rewarding than that.
Seeing her staff be just as passionate as she is, is something that makes her smile everyday. She says she is so blessed to have a team with the same values and morals she believes in, it’s like having another family.
Training is also something Lauryn is passionate about. She believes you can never stop growing your knowledge and she loves to pass this on to her very talented team.
Outside of the salon, Lauryn enjoys family time and outings with her husband Jesse, son Creed and daughter Stella. She also enjoys fitness and it’s something she wants to try and focus on more this year in her spare time!
Lauryn will be seen alot around the salon, however is only hands on with clients Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Bronie
Senior stylist/manager
CURRENTLY ON MAT LEAVE
Bronie loves hairdressing, because not only does she love making people feel good and doing great work, but above all else, she loves creating personal relationships with her clients.
Bronie doesn’t have a favourite service, she loves them all - however if she had to pick one, it would be styling and finishing hair that she really enjoys, because she can see the final product of what was created, that’s what makes our clients feel amazing!
Bronie’s hobbies outside the salon are spending time with her beautiful boys Hudson and Boston, exercising, relaxing at home and hanging out with friends.
Bron loves working at Gosh because she feels we are a family. It’s nice to work with people you like and always feel supported!
Bron Has being apart of the Gosh Family for 7 years now, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. She truly is an amazing soul and a very important past of our salon.
Bron is Currently on Mat Leave.
Amra
Senior stylist
Amra is passionate about all things hairdressing and making her clients feel and look their best. She loves keeping up to date with her hair education, and providing her clients with a great service. Being in an industry that continues to grow all the time and allows her to be creative is another reason why she loves what she does. Amra always knew she wanted to do hairdressing (in fact in her year six graduation video she said that she wanted to be a hairdresser!)
Amra joined the industry when she was 16, and now with over 10 years experience, her favourite service is colouring. She love doing everything from brunettes to blondes to bright and fun colours. She really loves cutting and blowaving as well.
Amra’s hobbies are watching all things footy when the season is on, she watches almost all nine games every weekend - a mad Collingwood supporter! She also loves cooking and exercising, running in particular.
She has a beautiful son named Noah and loves being a mum.
When asked what she loves most about working at Gosh, she said, “I was welcomed so nicely into the Gosh family, on my first day I came home smiling telling my partner it was the best day of work I've had in a long time because, I just felt so happy after it.”
Amra has being apart of the Gosh Family for 6 years now, and omgosh she fitted in like a glove. one of the biggest hearts you will ever find.
Amra currently works Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Candice
Senior stylist
Candice absolutely loves everything when in it comes to blondes, with over 15 years experience in the industry she has become a master at creating that perfect tone for each individual client. She started working at Gosh Hair Berwick at just 15 years of age, had a short break and now back. its an absolute pleasure.
Candice’s most favourite service as mentioned previously is creating blondes, known around the area as the “Blonde Queen”, she does it all. She also enjoys colour corrections and loves blow waving. Candice gets the most joy by making her clients feel amazing and beautiful. She says it’s when she gets to see her guest faces when they see the end product, that’s the most rewarding. She believes that building a relationship with her clients is the most important aspect when it comes to making them feel comfortable and nailing the results.
Candice has two beautiful little boy’s Storm and Reef, they definitely keep her busy when she’s not in the salon creating masterpieces. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, two boys and partner Lachy. Candice loves walks with the family, the beach and anything that’s outdoors in nature. We say she’s our little hippy.
Candice truly is a big part of our Gosh Family, she’s being here right from the start all that time ago.
Candice Currently works Wednesday mornings and Fridays.
Sophie
Senior stylist
Sophie is our newest addition to the Gosh family. We are so excited to have her, she fits in absolutely perfect with our culture.
What Sophie loves most about hairdressing is the impact she can make to those around her.
Sophie’s favourite service is definitely big colour corrections or working on virgin hair to create a first time colour. She absolutely loves a challenge when it comes to colour, seeing her clients reactions and creating that dream hair for the person seating in her chair is what gives her the most joy.
In Soph’s spare time, she likes to rock clime indoors and out, go camping and spend time with her friends and family. She’s definitely an outdoors kinda human and loves the fresh air.
What attracted Sophie to Gosh was the culture and the incredible team we have, Gosh wants to make an impact with everything they do and that resinated with Sophie a lot.
Be sure to book an appointment with Sophie and let her work her magic, we promise you will love her as much as we do.
Sophie is currently full time Tuesday - Friday and then every 2nd Saturday.
Jacinta
Apprentice
Jacinta loves that little smile on a client’s face when you know you’ve done an amazing job and they’re absolutely in love with their finished look.
Her favourite services to perform are creating blow waves. Not only do they help with the finishing look, but it really makes a client look and feel amazing.
Jacinta’s hobbies are going out and spending time with her friends, shopping and being able to spend quality time with her family.
When asked what she likes most about Gosh, she responded, “It’s probably the best workplace I’ve worked at. There’s a sense of belonging and being able to connect with the clients. After being so shy in the beginning, it’s really helped me grow personally. Not only do I love working with my fellow colleagues, I love feeling like we’re more than that. It definitely feels like we’re a family and it’s great being apart of a team that’s inclusive and will do anything for each other.”
Jacinta is currently growing her skills in foiling and cutting, her attention to detail and passion for our industry is one of Lauryns favourite things about Jacinta. It’s rare and so highly valued at Gosh.
